Alasdair graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2022 with a Clinical LLB (Merit) before gaining his Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Practice in 2023. He also holds a First-Class Honours Master of Arts in German and English Literature from the University of Edinburgh where he won the Jean Helen Macleod Prize for the best essay on Shakespeare in his final year. 

Alasdair joined Digby Brown as a Paralegal in June 2023, commenced his traineeship with the firm in September 2023 and qualified as a Solicitor in September 2025. He is based in our Glasgow office

Alasdair has experience helping clients who have been injured in road traffic accidents, accidents at work and accidents in public places.

At university Alasdair was heavily involved in volunteering with the Strathclyde Law Clinic. Access to justice is a passion of his and Digby Brown embodies these values as a firm.

Alasdair is a Notary Public.

Before joining Digby Brown, Alasdair worked in hospitality and tourism. He currently coordinates a classics book group. Alasdair has working proficiency in German and intermediate-level French.
