Ashleigh joined Digby Brown in July 2019. She is a Solicitor based in our Edinburgh office.
Having secured her LLB law degree from the University of Glasgow in 2011, she worked as a Paralegal in different areas including private client and property damage claims. After realising her passion was helping people, Ashleigh went on to secure her Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Strathclyde which she achieved whilst working full time as a Paralegal.
Ashleigh has a wealth of experience representing injured clients. She deals with road traffic accidents, accidents at work, accidents in public and private places, and injuries arising from dog bites. She also supports parents making claims on behalf of their injured children.
Ashleigh is dedicated to achieving positive outcomes for clients. She guides clients through the legal process with clarity and care. She is experienced in litigation in the local Sheriff courts in Scotland as well as the All-Scotland Sheriff Personal Injury Court in Edinburgh. She is also a notary public.
Ashleigh’s notarial motto is ‘Aliis auxiliari maximum privilegium est’ which translated is ‘To help others is the greatest privilege.’ Ashleigh is a charity ambassador for the Edinburgh office and has been an active member of the Corporate Social Responsibility team since 2021. Helping clients and communities alike is at the heart of what Ashleigh does at Digby Brown.
