Balal Pervaiz

Balal graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2013 with LLB (Hons) and went on to obtain his Diploma in Legal Practice in 2014. He trained at a Local Authority before making a move to a large insurance defender firm where he qualified as a solicitor in 2020. Balal joined the Glasgow office at Digby Brown in 2022 and became a Senior Solicitor in 2024.

Balal is a member of the Foreign and Travel Law Department where he is focused on assisting foreign nationals injured in Scotland, Scottish nationals injured abroad, package holiday accident claims and aviation matters. He also regularly deals with cases involving product liability, allergic reactions and foreign objects in food. 

Balal has an appetite for court work and has dealt with a wide variety of cases in both the Sheriff Courts and the Court of Session. He is able to leverage his insights into the public sector, insurance, defender and corporate fields to ensure that he achieves the best result possible for his clients. Balal is fluent in Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi. He is a Notary Public and member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
