Christie graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2020 with an LLB (Hons) in Scots Law before completing her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice in 2021 with Distinction. Christie was awarded the Law Society of Scotland prize for top student in Advanced Criminal Litigation 2021 and the Scullion Law prize for top student in Criminal Litigation 2021.

Following graduation from University, Christie spent a year gaining experience in the legal sector. She worked as a Support Co-ordinator with Victim Support Scotland in Falkirk Sheriff Court assisting victims and witnesses of crime through the criminal court process. Christie then moved on to work with the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service in the Office of the Public Guardian’s Power of Attorney team.

Christie joined Digby Brown’s Edinburgh Network team as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2022 before qualifying as a Solicitor and Notary Public in September 2024. Christie has experience in helping clients who have have been injured in road traffic accidents, workplace accidents, and those who have had accidents on private property
