Damian White

Damian White joined the firm as a personal injury solicitor and Partner in January 2014. Damian has a wealth of personal injury claims experience where he specialises in life-changing workplace accident cases through to complex fatal cases.

Damian is responsible for the development and management of our Recover Compensate Network in the West. 

This is Scotland’s largest personal injury referral network whereby local firms of solicitors are able to refer all manner of personal injury claims to Digby Brown who will then act for their clients, allowing their clients access to solicitors who specialise in pursuing personal injury claims. In the event of a client being successful Digby Brown is able to share the success fee with the referring firm.

In recent years Damian has litigated heavily in the Court of Session, delivering substantial awards for his clients. He is regularly invited by a number of Professional Organisations to provide professional training to fellow solicitors in Scotland on issues relating to personal injury law.

Damian has acted for multiple clients who have endured life-changing injuries after an accident, such as cyclist who was knocked off her bike and left with serious injuries. Damian was able to recover compensation to cover the future plastic surgery costs for facial scarring and travel costs for multiple trips for specialist dental treatment.

Damian recently secured an interim payment for a client who suffered terrible and permanent bilateral lower limb orthopaedic injuries and who will never be able to continue working in his pre-accident role as a heavy plant operator. This allowed him to purchase a car adapted to take into account his injuries, allowing him the opportunity to begin a new career as a taxi driver whilst he waits to have the rest of his claim settled.
