David joined the firm in 2004 after graduating from Glasgow University. He qualified as a Solicitor in 2006 was made associate in 2011 and then Partner in 2015.
David is based in Digby Brown's Glasgow office and is part of the firm's Network Department.
He specialises in workplace claims, road traffic accident and general accident claims. He has represented clients in both the Sheriff Court and the Court of Session achieving significant recoveries. He has built a reputation for adopting a straightforward and detailed approach to ensure outstanding outcomes for clients that he represents.
David is an accredited specialist in Personal Injury Law by the Law Society of Scotland and accredited as a Senior Litigator by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). He is the Scottish Co-ordinator for APIL and plays a lead role in formulating strategy to ensuring access to justice for those injured through no fault of their own.
David has acted as the lead solicitor in high profile cases including the M9 case against Police Scotland and the M&Ds rollercoaster accident recovering significant damages for his clients.
