Dawn joined the firm in 2008 having graduated from Strathclyde University in 2000. She qualified as a solicitor and notary public in 2002. Dawn is a Partner and the head of the Firm's General Litigation Department in Glasgow. She deals with road traffic, employer, occupier and public liability accidents as well as accidents involving fatalities.
Dawn has considerable experience of cases in both the Court of Session and Sheriff Court. She has a notable track record in conducting and winning proofs in both and has a particular expertise in Employers Liability cases, becoming one of the leading practitioners within the firm.
Dawn has been accredited as a specialist practitioner in Personal Injury Law by the Law Society of Scotland. She has been admitted as a Writer to the Signet.
Dawn was accredited as a Senior Litigator by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) in 2011. She became the first female in Scotland to be accredited with Fellowship status in 2019.
