Paola joined Digby Brown in 2024 and is based in our Glasgow office. She is a Senior Solicitor in our Foreign and Travel Law team.
Paola brings extensive experience in personal injury law, with a focus on product liability and claims under the Infected Blood Compensation Scheme.
She was the principal solicitor in Hastings v Finsbury Orthopaedics Ltd [2022] UKSC, which aimed to strengthen consumer protection and improve the regulation of medical implants. She now represents people affected by the Infected Blood Scandal, helping them to secure the compensation and justice they deserve.
Paola has also led major group claims, including Court of Session proceedings on behalf of around 5,000 Kenyan employees injured by alleged unsafe working practices.
Driven, tenacious and client-focused, Paola is committed to helping injured people secure redress and justice.
Alongside her work for clients, Paola has contributed to parliamentary scrutiny of the Product Regulation and Metrology Act 2025 and made recommendations to the Law Commission and APIL on UK product liability reform.
She is a Notary Public and member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). She is an Italian National and is fluent in Italian.
Outside work, Paola is an ultra-runner and international athlete who uses sporting challenges to fundraise and volunteer for local and national charities.
