Shakile joined Digby Brown in September 2026 to start his legal traineeship. He is based in our Edinburgh office and helps clients who have been injured in road traffic accidents, accidents at work and accidents in public places.
Shakile graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a First-Class Honours degree in Law in 2024. He subsequently completed the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh in 2025. He then went on to pursue a Master’s degree in Law by Research (LLM(R)) from the University of Edinburgh the following year.
Shakile undertook several work placements with Digby Brown before joining the firm. He is committed to achieving the best possible results for clients and to communicating effectively and clearly. He approaches his role with seriousness and empathy and is committed to ensuring that clients receive clear and effective support throughout their case.
Alongside his traineeship, Shakile will lecture on Advanced Legal Writing (Honours) and tutor Contract Law & Unjustified Enrichment, and Delict at the University of Edinburgh.
