Digby Brown recognised as a ‘Best Place to Work’ in the UK

Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025

Digby Brown is proud to be recognised as one of the UK’s ‘Best Places to Work’ in the just published Sunday Times ‘Best Places to Work 2025’ list.

The firm is one of just 115 organisations across the UK to be included in the ‘Big’ category (for businesses with between 250 -1,999 employees) as a great place to be part of and where someone can build a successful career.

“It’s called work for a reason” – a phrase coined by Larry Winget to stress the point that work is supposed to be hard and onerous. The reality is that it shouldn’t be something you don’t want to do.

The dread of Mondays… clock-watching… wishing the days away until the weekend.

It should be rewarding, challenging, and enjoyable - something that creates a sense of purpose – and for Digby Brown the evidence is plain to see.

People across the firm do enjoy what they do and as one team believe in what the firm is setting out to achieve.

Two statistics from the comprehensive survey conducted by WorkL on behalf of The Sunday Times - and highlighted by the assessors as best-in-class examples of an organisation appreciated by its workforce - stand out: an 88% Engagement Score and a 2% Flight Risk.

The firm’s Engagement Score was 15% above the industry average and when combined with a Flight Risk of just 2% compared to an industry average of 41% - a metric indicating how many employees are likely to leave the business within the next nine months - it offers reassurance that the firm is doing a lot right.

Wendy Quinn, HR Director, said: “At Digby Brown we’re driven to be known as an employer of choice - an organisation that can attract and retain the best people based on the working environment we’ve created, the opportunities we afford people and the benefits we offer.

“‘Best Places to Work’ will allow the Firm to gain recognition in this regard and, in turn, will allow us to continue to bring the best people on board and obtain stellar results for our clients.”

Fraser Oliver, Chief Executive, said: “I firmly believe that, for any business, people are by far your most important asset. Having a team who are engaged and enjoy the environment in which they work will in turn be reflected in everything we do.

“To be recognised as a ‘Best Place to Work' in the UK is simply a confirmation of what we already knew. Across all our offices and departments our people have a sense of purpose, a belief in what we do and real tangible job satisfaction.

“This is incredibly satisfying to be part of.”
