Digby Brown welcomes two Partners and three Associates

Digby Brown Solicitors has demonstrated its continued strength with the appointment of two new Partners and three Associates.

Trish McFadden and Matt Leckie were promoted to Partners in May following a challenging but successful year for the firm amid the backdrop of COVID-19.

Trish, who is based in Edinburgh, joined the firm in 1999 and has specialised in the complex area of Clinical Negligence for the last 10 years. While renowned as a formidable and intelligent litigator she is equally caring and compassionate with vulnerable clients.

Matt joined Digby Brown in 2012 and works with the Insurance Litigation team in Glasgow. He has a proven track record in settling cases linked to road traffic accidents and accidents at work while working closely with the firm’s IT department to deliver innovative and bespoke state-of-the-art case management tools.

Trish said: “It’s a great feeling to be recognised by the firm. I look forward to the exciting new challenges it brings as I continue to help people affected by clinical negligence.”

Matt added: “I’m delighted to be promoted to Partner. The last year has been a challenge for all firms, but we continue to be committed to providing excellent client service and access to justice for injured people.”

Alongside the new Partner appointments are the promotions of three new Associates.

Kim Catterall and Theresa Mutapi who both work in the firm’s Network department in Edinburgh and Sarah Ennis who plays a key role in the Professional Support team in Glasgow.

Siobhan Mortimer from the firm's Industrial Disease team and Louise McCulloch from the Network team both based in Glasgow, and Euan Robertson from the Insurance Litigation team in Dundee were all promoted to Senior Solicitor.

A further two roles were promoted including Sabrina Grieg to Legal Enquiry Team Supervisor and Carly McGinnity to Litigation Support Officer.
