Law Firm of the Year 2018, 2016 and 2015

Our credentials

Digby Brown Solicitors claim to be the number one law firm of personal injury lawyers in Scotland. We have detailed below some of the reasons behind why we believe this.

Top ranked personal injury firm in Scotland

We are the only law firm to be top ranked for personal injury by both the top two independent legal directories in the UK, Chambers Guide to the UK Legal profession and Legal 500 respectively.  Digby Brown has been top ranked in Chambers for the last twelve years and top ranked by Legal 500 for the last ten.

What does that mean?  These directories are the who’s who of the legal sector across the United Kingdom, with dedicated sections covering each region and area of expertise. They are compiled by interviewing other legal firms and associated organisations and finding out who they regard as experts in any chosen legal field.

The Law Society of Scotland, our governing body, ranks 13 of the partners in the firm as specialists in the field of personal injury and around a half of all the personal injury lawyers in Scotland listed by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) work at Digby Brown.

Award winning law firm

In March 2018, Digby Brown were delighted to be named Firm of the Year again and receive Community Contribution Award at Scott & Co. Legal Awards in Scotland.
